Our commitment to accessibility
SHEPHERD 33 LLC, dba SHEPHERD ("SHEPHERD," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to ensuring that its website, www.shepherdskin.com (the "Website"), is accessible to and usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to navigate, understand, and benefit from our Website, and we work to make that experience welcoming for all visitors — including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice-recognition software, and alternative input devices.
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time effort, and we continually work to improve the experience for every person who visits the Website.
Conformance standard
We have designed and built the Website with the goal of substantially conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the internationally recognized benchmark for making web content more accessible, and they inform the standards referenced under laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) in the United States and analogous accessibility laws and regulations in other jurisdictions where we offer our products. We also monitor developments in the more recent WCAG 2.2 guidelines and incorporate applicable improvements as part of our ongoing efforts.
"Substantial conformance" means that, while we strive to adhere to these guidelines across the Website, not every page or element may be fully conformant at all times. We treat conformance as a continuing process and prioritize remediation where it has the greatest impact on usability.
Measures we take
In our effort to make the Website accessible, we have endeavored to incorporate practices that include, where applicable:
-
Using semantic HTML structure and descriptive headings to support navigation by assistive technologies;
-
Providing text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images and graphics;
-
Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background;
-
Using descriptive link text and clear labels for forms and controls;
-
Designing a responsive layout that adapts across devices and screen sizes;
-
Reviewing new content and design changes with accessibility considerations in mind.
We periodically review the Website using a combination of automated evaluation tools and manual review, and we remediate issues that we identify through that process.
Third-party content and functionality
Portions of the Website may incorporate content, applications, plug-ins, or services provided by third parties — including, for example, our e-commerce platform, payment processors, embedded media, analytics tools, and other integrations. We do not control these third-party providers, and we cannot guarantee that all third-party content or functionality will be fully accessible. Where we become aware of accessibility barriers caused by third-party content, we will make reasonable efforts to address them or to seek an accessible alternative; however, we are not responsible for the accessibility practices of parties we do not control.
Ongoing efforts and limitations
Our efforts to maintain and improve accessibility are continuous. Because the range of assistive technologies, browsers, devices, and operating systems is wide and constantly evolving, and because website content changes over time, it is possible that certain pages or features may not be fully accessible to every user at all times. The presence of this statement does not represent a warranty or guarantee that the Website is, or will at all times be, error-free or fully conformant with any particular standard. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue this work.
Alternative means of access
If at any time you are having difficulty accessing any portion of the Website, we want to help. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, item, or transaction you are seeking through an alternative communication method or accessible means. Please reach out to us using the contact information below, and we will work with you to provide the information or assistance you need.
We welcome your feedback
We value input from all of our visitors and customers. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, or if you have questions, comments, or suggestions regarding the accessibility of the Website, please contact us:

To help us respond effectively, please include (1) the web address (URL) of the page where you experienced the issue, (2) a description of the problem you encountered, and (3) the assistive technology, browser, and device you were using, if known. We will make reasonable efforts to review your feedback and to make the relevant content or information accessible to you.
